Shaun would like to hear directly from residents about their experiences with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support in Telford. The aim is to gather feedback on how SEND provisions are functioning, identify areas of improvement, and understand the challenges faced by children, parents, and carers in accessing support.
In late 2024, Shaun visited PODS (Parents Opening Doors) and discussed their fantastic work advocating for young people with special education needs and disabilities. Importantly, Shaun was able to take back to Parliament concerns from parents relating to access to education, funding, and support for families.
