Shaun Davies MP, Member of Parliament for Telford, will host his first resident engagement event of the year on Friday 23 January, marking the start of a full programme of monthly community events across Telford throughout 2026.
The event will take place at The Hub on the Hill between 1pm and 3pm and is open to all residents with no booking required. It will bring together a wide range of local organisations and public services, offering residents the opportunity to access support, raise concerns, and speak directly with their MP in person.
Partners attending on the day include Age UK, Telford & Wrekin Council, Madeley Town Council, the Department for Work and Pensions, Citizens Advice, Stay Telford, Housing Plus, and other local services.
By hosting these events, Shaun Davies is aiming to make it as easy as possible for residents to get face-to-face help and advice, whether they have a quick question or need support with more complex issues such as housing, education, employment, or pensions.
Shaun Davies MP said: “For me, 2026 will continue in the same way as last year, with regular opportunities for people to meet me in person. Our coffee mornings and supermarket drop-ins were especially popular, because often people just want the reassurance of speaking to someone face to face.
“When I stand up for Telford in Parliament, it’s the voices of our residents and businesses that matter most. That’s why this kind of direct engagement is so important.”
Councillor Helena Morgan said “We’re excited to be joining Shaun at Hub on the Hill this month, alongside several great local partners from Telford. These events are always a great opportunity for residents to seek advice, and we’ll be available throughout to offer guidance on many local issues”

He does a lot of surgeries throughout Telford so he is easily accessible to people, I would recommend that if anyone has got something they would like sorting to give it a go”
As of December 2025, Shaun Davies MP had supported more than 8,000 Telford residents who contacted him for help with issues ranging from housing and education to pensions and benefits.
Events are scheduled across Telford every month in 2026 to ensure residents in all parts of the borough have opportunities to meet their MP locally.
