Shaun holds his latest surgery in Woodside on Friday evening hosting valuable conversations one on one with Telford residents.
The event offered constituents the opportunity to seek support and discuss their concerns or ideas for Telford with Shaun.
Residents raised topics ranging from the Assisted Dying bill to affordable housing and SEND Education. Shaun’s surgery in Woodside provided a space for constituents to comfortably share their issues or concerns with their Member of Parliament
In the last year Shaun has supported over 6,000 Telford residents with the issues that matter most to them.
Shaun said: “Supporting residents and standing up for Telford is at the heart of what I do. There’s nothing more rewarding than getting out and meeting people that I represent – and nothing beats a face-to-face conversation. Hearing your stories, concern and ideas directly shapes the work I do on your behalf.”
Klaudio Bari from Telford commented: “I had a really valuable conversation with our MP about an issue that’s especially important to us at the moment. Shaun took the time to speak with both me and my son, and I truly appreciate his support. I’d highly recommend booking an appointment if you’re looking for help or advice.”
Shaun added: “A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to come along this evening, it’s really appreciated.”
Shaun’s next event will be a coffee morning with partners including Telford & Wrekin Council, West Mercia Police, Citizens Advice and MIND in Ironbridge on Friday 18th July.
Shaun has met hundreds of residents at his surgeries and coffee events over the last year right across Telford including Madeley, Oakengates, Wrockwardine Wood, Ketley, Lawley and Dawley.
