Shaun Davies MP is planning to meet residents in Lawley this month as Parliament returns.
Telford’s MP, Shaun Davies, has announced that his next resident surgery will take place in Lawley on Friday 25th September from 1pm, giving local residents the opportunity to book an appointment to meet with their MP in person.
The surgery forms part of Shaun’s programme of monthly community events across Telford, making it easier for residents to speak directly with their MP and share their concerns, ideas and priorities. Since being elected, Shaun has supported more than 12,000 constituents with issues ranging from education and housing to transport and a wide range of other matters including helping constituents recover money they may be owed or have been unable to access.
Shaun Davies MP said: “My focus is always on making sure I’m accessible here at home. These conversations really matter. From coffee mornings and supermarkets to local pubs and community events, these events are about meeting face-to-face, hearing about any issues people are facing, and listening to ideas about how we can make our town even better. They help me understand what matters most to people across our community and ensure the issues I raise and work on down in London reflect what people here in Telford are experiencing.”
Resident surgeries provide constituents with the opportunity to have a one-to-one appointment with Shaun, allowing them to discuss their concerns directly and in person.
Tony, a resident from Dawley who recently attended Shaun’s Coffee Morning Tea in the Park, held in partnership with Great Dawley Town Council, said: “Great Dawley Town Council does so much for young people and older residents in our community, and we love living here. Having access to our MP at events like this, where we can have a proper conversation, is so important. We regularly bump into Shaun at events and it’s great to see him out and about in our community.”
Shaun’s regular programme of resident events is designed to ensure constituents have accessible opportunities to meet with him in different settings and across communities throughout Telford. Events are held at a range of times, including evenings, weekends and school holidays, and are offered both online and in person to make them as accessible and convenient as possible for residents.
Residents wishing to book an appointment at the Lawley surgery can find further details on Shaun’s website shaundavies.org, alongside information about other upcoming resident events planned throughout 2026.
