Shaun Davies, Member of Parliament for Telford, recently visited Müller’s site to recognise the organisations investment into the Telford community, and the opportunities they create across the town.
During the visit, Shaun toured the facility and met with employees to learn more about Müller’s operations in Telford and its ongoing commitment to supporting its 250-strong local workforce. Discussions also focused on the company’s work supporting veterans, as well as the key issues currently facing both the business and the wider dairy sector.
Shaun said: “Telford is home to some outstanding businesses, and that is something I am incredibly proud of. It was fascinating to see first-hand how products recognised and trusted by so many families are manufactured right here in our town, making the journey from Telford to supermarket shelves and into homes across the country.
“Visits like this are an important opportunity to hear directly from businesses about the challenges and opportunities they face. Major international employers such as Müller play a vital role in strengthening our local economy, creating jobs and providing opportunities for residents in Telford.
“It was a pleasure to meet the team at Müller and see the dedication, expertise and hard work that goes into their operations every day. Their commitment to excellence is a real asset to our town, and I look forward to continuing to champion businesses that invest in Telford.”
