Shaun Davies MP recently visited the new library in Oakengates, where he met with Councillor Stephen Reynolds to hear more about the new space and what it has to offer local residents.
Shaun believes libraries are an important part of our communities, giving people the opportunity to learn something new and access resources that might otherwise be out of reach.
The new library also features a dedicated workspace with computers, making it easier for people to study, work or simply spend some time enjoying the library.
Shaun hopes local residents will enjoy the new space and make the most of the brilliant range of books now available. During his visit, he also donated a book about politics to the library’s collection.
Shaun thanked the team at Oakengates Library for welcoming him and showing him around the new facilities.
